I got bored today and finally decided to look through that thing about how to change the format/template of this blog. And it turns out that I can do some pretty awesome things. So right now I've got it set to a more customized (although perhaps a bit less than I'd like) template. A couple more changes may be coming soon, but I figured this would be fun.
I can't per se argue that I have any vast desire to write some deep philosophical post right now, so I'll just continue writing about this template. What's nice is that it's dark...I like that it's darker now. First of all, it hurts my eyes less (I very much don't like light colors on my computer screen). Second, it has raindrops. And I like rain...I think that was rather obvious from 100 Things I Live For.
So while I enjoyed the journal-ish feel of the old template, I by far prefer this dark, rainy one. I'm still trying to figure out what color scheme to do as far as all of the text, and some of the blues seem a bit too faded, but making them brighter is rather outlandish and sticks out too much. I may work on that a bit, but I think it's fine as is.
I guess I'll leave it at that for now. If I feel like writing something more worthwhile at any point later today, I inevitably will. Either way, I think this is a lighter mood than I've been in lately (and I don't fail to notice that my lighter mood comes with a darker background). So I think things might [finally] be getting better. And that's pretty damn good.
